Jason Buxbaum
Jason’s 25-year long career in commercial real estate began in Chicago, where he worked with his family on a diversified portfolio of commercial assets.
In 2005, Jason relocated to Phoenix, Arizona, where he started in multifamily brokerage. From brokerage, Jason moved to the principal side of multifamily as the Vice President of Acquisitions for ColRich, a CALPERS partner.
Since founding Jevan Capital in 2009, Jason has overseen the acquisition and reposition of more than 217 properties. Focusing on large multifamily projects, Jevan has acquired more than 4,000 apartment units with a total basis of $337,450,000. The portfolio is capitalized with more than $111,000,000 in equity raised entirely by Jason.
As of January 2022, Jevan has sold 18 significant assets, generating $389,000,000 in sales and an average IRR of 31.3%.Jason resides in Phoenix with his wife and son. Together they enjoy an active outdoor lifestyle as well as supporting the local arts and burgeoning downtown Phoenix area. They support numerous local charities including The Boys and Girl Club, UMOM, Free Arts of Arizona, Generation Justice, Foundation for Blind Children, and The Phoenix Art Museum. Jason graduated from Union College with a dual BS in Economics and Art History.
